Rare X-Men Comic Book Goes for $800,000 USD at Auction

A 1963 X-Men comic book racked up a record-high price of $807,300 at a recent auction as the resale value of collectables continues to soar. The fast-paced auction took place online at www.ComicConnect.com with over 50 bidders and wrapped up on June 24. “The winning bid came from an American who invests in many types of collectibles, but sees vintage comics as a rising alternative asset class,” ComicConnect COO Vincent Zurzolo said in a statement.

The comic was created during what collectors call the “Silver Age,” delineating comics created from 1956 to 1970. It also features the first appearance of X-Men leader Professor X. Eight years ago, the same X-Men #1 comic sold for a fraction of the recent sale at $250,000 USD. “Collectors know Silver Age values will only keep rising.” Zurzolo said. “That’s why we’re seeing such heated bidding when these rarities come up for auction.” X-Men comics in particular have skyrocketed in value since Disney’s acquisition of the franchise in a 2019 merger with Fox.

And I’m not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply time, but something was healed along the way,” she continued. “Sometimes you need to talk it over (over and over and over) for it to ever really be… over. Like your friend who calls you in the middle of the night going on and on about their ex, I just couldn’t stop writing. This will be the first time you hear all 30 songs that were meant to go on Red. An unexpected cloud of sadness has covered the Narutoverse. Fans are having a hard time waiting for Boruto Chapter 56 as they mourn for Kurama it was great while it lasted. Kurama has earned a great spot in our heart he is not a monster fox, he is now the respectable partner of Naruto. We have had a checkered past with Kurama he debuted as the monster fox who leeched off Naruto, who was the sole reason Naruto suffered. Then we saw that Naruto forcefully extracted chakra from Kurama; in time, he had grown quite familiar with the beast. Pretty soon, Naruto trained with bee and achieved his proper Jinchuriki mode. And finally, they became friends!

Boruto manga is progressing quite smoothly now that Masashi Kishimoto has taken over from Ukyo Kodachi. Nevertheless, Mikio Ikemoto’s art style is still very consistent. The series is posted in Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine. The manga, despite its infamous anime adaptation, has had consistent sales throughout! So Code became the key! The next arc is pretty clear to us. Now that Code has inherited the Ohtsutsuki Will, his time to shine will arrive. He is the next menace, the next villain! Boruto 56 spoilers will probably show code making his move towards becoming an Ohtsutsuki.
Why did Kurama die? To defeat someone as strong as Isshiki, Naruto and Sasuke’s combined strength wasn’t enough. Naruto had to go for Baryon Mode. This is his final mode with Kurama. In exchange for terrifying power, this mode sucks out life force. Once it runs out, the mode stops. So in the end, Kurama ran out of it all and had to die. And it happened Kurama did die. Not in a flashy way; he simply faded away. Normally, when a Jinchuriki loses his beast, he dies. But this is not the case here, Kurama simply died. So Naruto would still be alive; its just that all of Kurama’s chakra will vanish. Boruto Chapter 56 raw scans will probably show Naruto regretting this loss.

Why was Naruto surprised?

Naruto has no idea that Kurama would die. He believed that the Baryon mode would end up costing his life. But he was simply misled by Kurama. The mode ended up costing Kurama’s life. And the fox loved Naruto enough to sacrifice himself. Initially, when Naruto thought that he was dying, he didn’t have a heartfelt goodbye. He just felt awkward. But when he realized that Kurama would die, he couldn’t even shed a tear. The shock made him strangely melancholic and stoic. It was like a kid, asking for its mother to stay! Boruto 56 scans will probably show Naruto remembering how important Kurama was to him.

What will Code do?

In the upcoming Boruto chapter 56 spoilers, Code will probably plot his revenge. He was a worshipper of Isshiki and in his final moments, Isshiki passed on his will to Code. Now, he is bent on revenge. In the final panel, we see Code reciting the names of all the people responsible for Isshiki’s death. As if he will devour them all. His purpose ahead is clear. He has to feed Boruto or Kawaki to the Ten Tails. That would allow the chakra fruit to bloom. In that food, all knowledge of earth exists. Eating that will transform Code into an Ohtsutsuki. Code was a failed vessel he has a non-functional karma. But that DNA is his key to becoming the next god. Isshiki encourages him to finish earth and keep devouring more planets.

Code

Code is an Inner from the organisation Kara and a failed vessel of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. At some point, Code was among those Jigen and Amado experimented on in order to find a suitable vessel for Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Code proved to be an unsuitable receptacle for Isshiki's soul but survived the ordeal, attaining a White Kāma. Code came to worship Isshiki as a god, and was inducted into Kara as an Inner, with Amado enhancing his body with Scientific Ninja Tools. Code appears to have a mocking and arrogant demeanour, as he grinned when Jigen put Victor in place and mocked Delta for being weaker than him, being confident that either he or Boro could handle Naruto and thus assured one of them would be sent in to deal with the Hokage and retrieve Kawaki. In the anime, he laments at Koji killing Victor, wishing he could have done it. Code was shown to be bitter over Kawaki's antagonism about being chosen as a vessel for Isshiki, lamenting over his own failed Kāma.

Delta noticed that he was content with Kawaki's loss. He was noted to be Isshiki's most loyal subordinate, and revered him like a God, as a worshipper of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. Learning of Isshiki's demise greatly angered him, and he swore not only to avenge him, but to obey his final decree to become an Ōtsutsuki himself to continue the clan's legacy. Despite his loyalty, Code can be lazy as he fell asleep while guarding the Ten-Tails. Being an Inner of Kara, Code is regarded as completely monstrous in terms of power, and has had his body modified with Scientific Ninja Tools by Amado. Describing himself as stronger than Delta, Code even seemed confident he or Boro would be sent in next after Delta was decisively defeated to retrieve Kawaki from Naruto.[ Kara also held his might in high enough regard that he was sent to guard the valuable Ten-Tails and when he was about to attack Jigen, Koji Kashin, another powerful Inner, showed caution at the possibility of either him or Boro being there to defend Jigen, suggesting his strength may be a match for Koji's. As a failed vessel of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Code bears a White Kāma which grants him access to his master's "pure power", though the extent of its abilities remains unknown. In time it will allow him to transform into a complete, perfect Ōtsutsuki and carry out the clan's will of devouring worlds and evolving in order to attain godhood.

Kurama

Kurama , more commonly known as the Nine-Tails , was one of the nine tailed beasts. Centuries of being regarded as a mindless monster and sought after as a tool for war caused Kurama to hate humans. After being sealed into Naruto Uzumaki, Kurama attempts to maintain its cynical perspective about the world, but with Naruto's insistence on treating it with respect, the fox overturns its hatred and willingly strives to use its power for the world's salvation. Kurama and the tailed beasts first came into being in the waning days of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, who used his Creation of All Things Technique to divide the Ten-Tails' chakra into nine separate bodies and giving each a name. Some time after being created, the Sage explained to the young tailed beasts that a link existed between them despite their separation. He also foretold of a day when they would be brought together again - though not as they were - and that at that time someone would emerge to show them what true power is.In the anime, before his death, Hagoromo sent Kurama to live in a temple built for the purpose of protecting it in a forest region with mountains that would later become part of the Land of Fire. Over time, Kurama gained a fearsome reputation as a natural disaster that can desolate areas where the darkest aspects of human nature collect and fester. During the time of the founding of the shinobi villages, the Gold and Silver Brothers of Kumogakure were assigned to capture Kurama, but were both swallowed whole by the fox. However, the two brothers survived and gained some of its power by eating the flesh of its stomach for two weeks, forcing Kurama to regurgitate them. After Madara Uchiha's defection from Konohagakure, he found Kurama and used his Sharingan to control it, forcing the fox to help him fight against Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage. The epic battle left a colossal scar in the earth that would come to be called the Valley of the End.After his victory over Madara, Hashirama's wife Mito Uzumaki sealed the fox within herself, becoming its first jinchūriki. Over the period of time which included the first two Shinobi World Wars, Mito kept Kurama at bay except when the seal nearly broke when she was going through childbirth. Towards the final years of her life, Mito passed on this status and responsibility to another member of her clan, Kushina Uzumaki, who later became the wife of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage. Although Kushina was terrified with the responsibility of containing Kurama, Mito assured her successor that the fox's hatred was powerless against her love. Soon after the end of the Third Shinobi World War, the Third Hokage made special arrangements for Minato to ensure that Kurama would remain sealed inside Kushina while she gave birth to Naruto on the night of October 10. However, despite keeping the childbirth a secret, a masked man called Tobi tracked down their location, killed their escorts, and held Naruto hostage, forcing Minato to quickly rescue him and teleport him to safety. Right after Tobi captured Kushina, he extracted and seized control of Kurama, and tried to have the fox kill its barely surviving jinchūriki, but Minato made it in time to save her. Soon afterwards, the masked man summoned Kurama into Konoha and ordered it to destroy the village.

While Kurama was rampaging in the village, Minato fought against Tobi and soon managed to place a Contract Seal on him, which freed the fox from his control. Despite that, Kurama still harboured resentment against Konoha for sealing it away and continued decimating the shinobi forces that tried to repel it. As it prepared a Tailed Beast Ball, Minato summoned Gamabunta on top of the fox, and quickly teleported it to Kushina and Naruto's location, letting its Tailed Beast Ball detonate away from the village. Already dying from the extraction, Kushina used her remaining strength to restrain Kurama, planning to seal the fox back inside her so it would die with her. However, knowing that Kurama would revive without a host and how great a threat Tobi was, Minato instead came up with a plan to give his son the means to combat the masked man in the future. Because Kurama's chakra was too immense to be sealed within an infant, Minato first used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to separate and seal its Yin half within himself, and then prepared the Eight Trigrams Seal to imprison the Yang half within Naruto. Realising what they were planning, Kurama attempted to kill Naruto, but both of the parents used themselves as shields and completed the sealing. Later, upon awakening within Naruto's subconscious and learning the reason behind Minato's intention, Yang-Kurama, though frustrated of being sealed again, decided to wait for the time to come when it would influence Naruto as much as it can to use its power to break the seal. Throughout the years, Kurama weakened the seal through the cracks of its formation by constantly leaking out small portions of its chakra, which had positive side-effects on Naruto such as amplifying his naturally large chakra reserves and healing ability, being able to heal from minor wounds within seconds to major injuries within a day. In the anime, it was revealed that Kurama had left behind large amounts of its chakra during the attack. Kazuma, a former member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja, collected and sealed the chakra within his son, Sora, hoping to make use of its power for his own agenda. Kurama is widely known as the strongest of the nine tailed beasts. Hashirama Senju, who could subdue the fox, viewed it as too powerful and dangerous to be left roaming free. Even with only half its power, Kurama remained strong enough to defeat five other tailed beasts at the same time. After the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kurama's full power was restored once its two halves reunited inside Naruto, which could defeat Toneri's giant golem and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki's elemental construct.[ Kurama later became able to manifest itself outside of Naruto, allowing the two to fight independently and away from each other. Even for a tailed beast, Kurama possesses massive reserves of powerful chakra, required to be sealed last into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to avoid overloading it. It can also accumulate a huge amount of chakra shortly after it has used up most of its own, enough to be passed on to the entire Allied Shinobi Forces and be felt countries away by non-sensors. Due to Naruto's compatibility with Kurama's chakra, any chakra it possesses is limited for its jinchūriki alone, unless it was moulded to fit the recipient's unique chakra signature. When used by others, the chakra becomes dense enough to be seen as a visible shroud than can further protect the wearer. Using its chakra, Kurama can shroud itself within its Nine-Tails Chakra Mode to increase its power. As a last-ditch ability, Kurama can enter Baryon Mode. In this state, similar to nuclear fusion, Kurama's chakra is consumed as raw materials to produce a new type of energy. When in use, it dramatically boosts Kurama's reflexes, raw might, and charka to extreme levels. Because all chakra is connected, the same power that is produced from bits of their lives also works to reduce the lifespan of opponents on contact. Due to its extreme energy consumption, Kurama must remain focused and not waste energy of extraneous thoughts and actions, to maximise the amount of time Baryon Mode can be maintained. Kurama has a great deal of brute force, reputedly able to raise tsunamis and flatten mountains with just a single swipe of a tail. Even with half its strength, it could overpower Obito's controlled tailed beasts, smash Madara's senjutsu-enhanced Susanoo with a tail, and with the Six Paths Chakra, battle Sasuke's Tailed Beast-enhanced Complete Body — Susanoo. Kurama is deceptively quite fast, able to catch Naruto in Sage Mode. The fox is also durable enough to withstand several senjutsu-enhanced attacks, and block a Tailed Beast Ball from the Ten-Tails' initial form. As a tailed beast, Kurama can create a Tailed Beast Ball, and is able to fire it as a beam or rapid blast of spheres. Unlike most tailed beasts, Kurama can supercharge it, creating one many times its own size for much greater power, even on low chakra. One of these was powerful enough to counter a collaborated Tailed Beast Ball from five tailed beasts. At full power, Kurama's Tailed Beast Ball could blast Toneri's giant golem through the moon and into orbit. Kurama can create destructive shockwaves, capable of dispersing a massive Rasengan, knocking back five tailed beasts at once, and destroying entire city blocks as shown when he used it against Konoha. Even when limited through Naruto's Version 1 and 2 states, they were strong enough to destroy an entire bridge and repel Pain's Shinra Tensei respectively. Kurama also had adept sensor skills, able to detect chakra from great distances and uniquely able to sense negative emotions, as well as natural energy, which it can accumulate and transfer to Naruto to create senjutsu chakra. In the anime, it is shown using Wind and Fire Release nature transformations, being able to generate twisters and breathe fire. Kurama is very cunning and can formulate strategies in the midst of battle. Through Naruto's body, the fox tricked Obito into using Kamui to absorb Kakashi into Kamui's dimension, only for Obito to become vulnerable to Kakashi's attacks as he phased through Naruto's punch. Kurama has also shown remarkable leadership skills, being able to calmly and effectively instruct its allies on how best to engage the Ten-Tails. In the anime, it has enough knowledge of fūinjutsu to determine the natures and weaknesses of the Eight Trigrams Seal that bound it inside Naruto. In addition, Kurama has an advanced understanding of nuclear physics, particularly the nuclear fusion that occurs within the Sun.

Isshiki Ōtsutsuki

Isshiki Ōtsutsuki was a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan's main family and the leader of Kara. Over 1,000 years ago, Isshiki came to Earth alongside Kaguya with the objective to plant a Tree to harvest its Chakra Fruit. While Kaguya, being lower-ranked, was planned to be sacrificed to create the Chakra Fruit, she instead turned on Isshiki, leaving him on the verge of death after destroying Isshiki's lower half. Encountering Jigen and not having the strength to implant a Kāma on him, Isshiki devised a desperate plan and shrunk himself to enter the monk's ear in order to survive his injury by absorbing Jigen's nutrients. Through time, Isshiki came to control Jigen's entire body and embed a Kāma onto his host. Passing on reviving himself through Jigen as his body would probably die within a few days as it wouldn't be able to bear his chakra, he instead opted to cultivate Jigen's body as much into an Ōtsutsuki as possible to be fed to the Ten-Tails for its growth. At the same time, Isshiki began preparing for a new host. Upon the formation of Kara, Isshiki through Jigen became its leader, and the Inners collectively agreed on obtaining the Chakra fruit by cultivating a new God Tree huge enough to devour all life on Earth. Eventually, Isshiki found and purchased Kawaki from his abusive father with a large sum of money, to use as a potential new vessel. After taking custody of the boy, Isshiki introduced Jigen as his new father and reassured him. With the assistance of Amado, who at some point modified Isshiki's vessel with Scientific Ninja Tools, the two attempted to transfer Kāma to Kawaki, Code and thirteen other boys in an experiment. Kawaki was the only success, while Code gained an incomplete White Kāma and the other thirteen perished. Despite promising him safety, Isshiki put Kawaki through gruelling training to master the Kāma and would constantly berate him as only having value as a vessel, striking the boy whenever he questioned him. Meanwhile, Code was recruited as his most loyal subordinate. With Kaguya's betrayal and eventual sealing leaving Isshiki alone, he was left with no other option but to use himself via Jigen as the sacrifice for the Ten-Tails, in order to make it bloom into a God Tree. With this intent, he prepared Kawaki to serve as his vessel for revival once he feeds Jigen and himself to the beast. Isshiki was arrogant, pragmatic, and remorseless. Common with the rest of his clan, Isshiki cared not for other lives, desiring only to live at any costs and furthering his own goals with no concern on how many innocent people must die for it, as shown when he crushed Jigen's mind and completely took over his brain and body; even fellow clansmen were not above being expendable by him, as he intended to sacrifice Momoshiki's vessel to cultivate a God Tree. Even as he overwhelmed Jigen's body with his overwhelming power, he mocked Jigen's tears of pain, declaring him a worthless and defective vessel. In battle, he outright mocked enemies, repeatedly insulting his foes upon overpowering them and relishing in their awe and/or fear of his power. He also showed an authoritarian nature, fully capable of commanding respect among the group, to the point even the prideful Victor and hot-tempered Delta were easily silenced by him. He was also shown to be rather vain, storing various trinkets in his pocket dimension, including clothing and glasses of wine. In the anime, he noted to find certain people amusing, such as Deepa making him laugh on occasion, though he seems to not express such emotions openly, as Amado did not think he was capable of laughter. He was very confident in his abilities, bordering on arrogance. When he faced Naruto and Sasuke, the well-considered two strongest shinobi in history, he was completely unfazed by this. At the same time, this self-confidence didn't prevent Isshiki from praising his opponents and also remaining calm when cornered, even actually thanking them for revealing the weakness of his abilities. Likewise, he was willing to admit when he was outwitted, openly declaring Amado's victory in forcing his resurrection in Jigen's body. He was also shown to be a perfectionist, expressing disgust to see his adopted son's preference of his prosthetic right arm over and desire to quickly restore his right arm. Like other Ōtsutsuki, he openly viewed himself as a superior being, looking down on all others as beneath him. Despite his amoral nature, Isshiki was shown to be able to remain calm even when faced with insult. Generally, Isshiki was formal and courteous, addressing the fellow members of his organisation politely, even extending manners to his enemies, as apologised for not removing his shoes when entering the Uzumaki household. He preferred to only incapacitate enemies when not needing to kill them and even willing to avoid conflict if potential adversaries were agreeable to his terms. He seemed to have a sense of comradery, referring to the other Inners as comrades and offering to tell Koji's last words to Amado as a favour to his former comrades. He was very composed and systematic in his approach to matters at hand. Even when dealing with momentary failure, he remains determined as ever, convinced that all will fall into place as he designed it. At the same time, he had shown an irritable side, as when tasks fail to reach his expectations, he could lash out, as he kicked a broken tank after another setback to his plans. Prioritising his own survival more than almost anything, Isshiki lost his composure when Naruto drained him of his already limited lifespan, showing his fear of a permanent death and his rage at Naruto's mockery. He made it clear that Kawaki will not amount to anything but as a sacrifice for Isshiki's own survival, and upon being outsmarted by Kawaki, a dying Isshiki, losing all composure, expressed pure horror at his own death. Also, despite his vain attitude, he could genuinely appreciate those who are faithful to him, as he regarded Code as his most beloved, loyal subordinate, naming him his successor to the Ōtsutsuki Will. He viewed those who value peace as the utmost priority as being cowardly and foolish. Arrogant as he appeared, Isshiki was very cautious and secretive, capable of keeping the full scope of his abilities secret even from his allies. Very perceptive and deceptive, he was fully aware of Koji Kashin and Amado's treason, yet still hid it perfectly from all. He effectively fooled all the Inners so well that he ultimately tricked Koji and Amado to reveal their true intentions of killing him. Even though Victor went to falsify evidence to blame Deepa of his unauthorised project to recreate a God Tree, Isshiki did not trust any of it and while putting Victor off guard by seemingly letting him off with a warning, instead revived Deepa's head to confirm his the truth and ordered Victor's execution. Isshiki was so driven in his goals that he could get over-excited and reckless from the idea of things proceeding so swiftly: Delta noted that money Isshiki had invested for his experiments was enough to buy an entire country. His immense devotion to his goal left him to have little to no interest in other matters, willing to leave his defeated foes alive if he deemed it taking up too much of his time. Isshiki's devotion in cultivating the Chakra Fruit was such even while alone after losing Kaguya, he was willing to feed his own damaged body via his inadequate vessel to the Ten-Tails, even if this would result in the fruit's inferior quality. Even more, the fact that he would wait for over a millennium shows remarkable tenacity and patience on his part. At the same time, he would do whatever he deemed necessary to speed up progress in his plans. After learning of Boruto bearing a Kāma and uniquely having a naturally perfect compatibility with it, he became determined to capture Boruto as a new sacrifice for the God Tree and to ensure he would not die in anyway outside of being fed to the beast, in order to produce the highest calibre of Chakra Fruit. Even after death he was determined to continue his clan's way of evolving by tasking his most loyal and trusted subordinate Code to follow in his footsteps and become an Ōtsutsuki by planting a new God Tree on Earth and consume a chakra fruit, and then to continue to do so across more planets. He was also vengeful, naming all those who led to his death for Code to kill. Isshiki seemed to believe that all living beings have their fates predestined by their genetics, as he stated that Koji, a clone of Jiraiya, was destined to die just like his template due to having inherited his genes. Isshiki's power is so vast that Jigen's body, despite the various enhancements he gained to be monstrously powerful in his own right, has difficulty containing it, preventing him from using the full extent of it for long. While limiting himself, he could pressure both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, the two strongest shinobi in history simultaneously, and upon exerting himself more, decisively defeat both of them, sealing the former while nearly killing the latter. Amado described Isshiki's power as being so immense that if he were to be able to fully harness his true powers, he could destroy Earth with no one able to stop him. Physical and Chakra Prowess

Isshiki is a very resilient man, able to survive being bisected long enough to find a new host. While possessing Jigen, Isshiki displayed incredible prowess in unarmed combat. Even without having Jigen's body access more of his power, he shows tremendous speed and strength, easily kicking Naruto away, impressing the Hokage with his reaction, and effortlessly catching a punch from Kawaki when he had Kāma activated, causing Kawaki visible pain by merely lightly twisting his arm. He is also highly durable, suffering no injuries from a direct kick from Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode. Even while severely weakened from his battle with Naruto and Sasuke, he remained fully capable of matching Koji Kashin in hand-to-hand combat. Isshiki has also displayed remarkable proficiency with a large black rod to easily parry blows from Sasuke's masterful skill in kenjutsu. Isshiki also has considerable senses, as he was easily able to sense the presence of Koji's toad that went unnoticed even to Naruto. In his true form, Isshiki's strength and speed are at such levels that he was able to completely outmatch Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode, kicking him through buildings without the Hokage being able to react. Isshiki wields tremendously powerful chakra, compared to Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode form by Kawaki. Its sheer reserves and strength at full power is capable of overwhelming Jigen's body with the sheer intensity of it. Even while limiting himself, his sinister chakra was already strong enough to terrify Ino Yamanaka to the point of near-collapse. When unleashing more of his power through Jigen's Kāma, his chakra was such that it intimidated Sasuke into fleeing and later on unnerved both him and Naruto. As noted by Amado and Isshiki himself, his chakra is so massive that it requires a proper vessel to withstand it, as if he were to be reborn in Jigen's body, the man's body would die within a few days. Isshiki believes three days would be the limit. Ninjutsu Isshiki using Space–Time Ninjutsu. He can use chakra absorption powerful enough to absorb Sasuke's Amaterasu, and levitation. Utilising Yin Release, he can communicate with others using genjutsu. He shows adept bojutsu prowess, able to easily counter the masterful swordsmanship of Sasuke. Isshiki's rods are also capable of draining chakra from the victim, which he can perform with the most minute of hand gestures. He can use Space–Time Ninjutsu, able to access what appears to be his personal dimension, a world with rolling purple storm clouds and desiccated white land. The crater-shaped battlefield is also a gigantic sealing coffin, with its lid suspended above the clouds. He can also use the lid to perform a power Fūinjutsu, able to seal away even the likes of Naruto inside. Only Isshiki himself is capable of breaking the seal and cracking it will only destroy whatever is inside. Kāma As an Ōtsutsuki, Isshiki can impart a Kāma onto individuals. This seal, being a compressed backup file of Isshiki's biological data, grants the host his powers and techniques, including a huge boost in physical abilities and chakra levels, as well as the ability to absorb chakra. While using a vessel with its enhanced Kāma, Isshiki displays such a tremendous level of physical strength and speed that he was able to effortlessly dodge Sasuke's Complete Body Susanoo and Naruto's Tailed Beast Mode attacks and plunge them out with a single attack as well as pummel them severely with just a few punches and kicks. He is also resilient enough to be completely unfazed while being burned by Amaterasu, which could harm even Tailed Beasts, proceeding to calmly absorb it. He can also connect space between two targets bearing his mark to instantly teleport to the other target. The true purpose of Kāma is for Isshiki's genetic information to overwrite that of the host, allowing him to transcend death and be reborn at the expense of the vessel's individuality. Isshiki applied the Kāma onto Jigen after nearly dying from Kaguya's attack, but knowing Jigen's body would die days later after resurrecting through him, Isshiki used the Kāma instead to better control Jigen's body as a vessel. Nevertheless, Jigen's would endure great damage if accessing too much of Isshiki's power for prolonged periods of time. Through scientific aid, Isshiki was able to transfer his Kāma to a more suitable vessel, albeit with a very low success rate, with Kawaki alone out of fifteen children to have survived the process. At the same time, Isshiki would still have to nuture Kawaki's through arduous training to ensure he could resurrect in his body. Isshiki is also able to synchronise the Kāma he placed onto Jigen with that on Kawaki to open rifts in space between the two vessels. As with any Kāma, Isshiki had no control over its progress once it is applied. Hence, when he and Jigen were burned to death by Koji, Isshiki was forced to reincarnate into an incomplete state using Jigen's charred corpse. At the moment of reincarnation, every other Kāma that Isshiki placed vanished, thus preventing Isshiki from stockpiling on backup vessels for further reincarnation, leaving him vulnerable to a permanent death unless he could apply another Kāma. Having left a White Kāma on Code, Isshiki's spirit was able to temporarily manifest via it to speak his final words to his failed vessel before disappearing. Dōjutsu Isshiki's dōjutsu. As an Ōtsutsuki, Isshiki possesses a Byakugan, but apparently only in his left eye and cannot access it when in a vessel. It grants him the usual near-360° field of x-ray vision (with the presumed exception of a small blind spot at the upper thoracic vertebrae) and the ability to see the chakra pathway system, though there are special barriers that he could not see through, such as an underground facility within Konoha that was made with such arrangements, and Sasuke's mineral-based smoke bomb. With his unique right eye, Isshiki is able to perform Sukunahikona, a technique that allows him to instantly shrink himself or anything non-living target he sees and just as quickly restore its original size. After shrinking a target, he can use Daikokuten, which lets him store any of his shrunken targets into a pocket dimension, which he can summon and at full size at any given time. He tends to make regular usage of this, manifesting replacements of destroyed furnishings and other items, like a table, food and drink, and even lit candles. He could use this combination in combat to great effect, by shrinking weapons and objects and then summoning them to full size right onto his opponents, causing severe damage by surprise, or by reducing the size of elemental attacks and projectile weapons to prevent them from harming him. His most common tactic with it is to instantly summon large black rods to impale his foes. He can even reduce the size of buildings to cause severe collateral damage and remove stable footing from his enemies. He can also manifest massive black cubes which he can freely manipulate. These black cubes disrupt sensory abilities. He can also view the lifeforce of living things, including his own, in the form of fire-like shadows.

Kawaki

Kawaki is a child raised by Kara to be the future vessel for Isshiki Ōtsutsuki and the key to the fulfilment of their greatest wish. After being brought to Konohagakure by Team 7, he is taken in by Naruto Uzumaki who raises him as his own, during which he develops a brotherly bond with Boruto Uzumaki to solve the mystery of Kāma. During his childhood, Kawaki was raised by his physically and emotionally abusive drunkard father, until Jigen bought him with a large sum of money. Upon taking custody of the boy, Jigen told Kawaki that the suffering he endured was over and there was nothing to fear, as he was his new father. Despite Jigen's promise of safety, Kawaki would later describe his life from then on to be a living hell. During his childhood, Kawaki was raised by his physically and emotionally abusive drunkard father, until Jigen bought him with a large sum of money. Upon taking custody of the boy, Jigen told Kawaki that the suffering he endured was over and there was nothing to fear, as he was his new father. Despite Jigen's promise of safety, Kawaki would later describe his life from then on to be a living hell. Some time after his adoption, Jigen took Kawaki to Amado's laboratory, telling him that he would give Kawaki a gift when they truly become parent and child. Kawaki was one of fifteen children placed in artificial wombs connected by tubes to jars of fluid, through which Jigen attempted to transfer his Kāma to them. The first thirteen children all died, however Jigen succeeded with Kawaki, one of his last attempts. Kawaki later awoke with a Kāma branded on his left hand. He would constantly be put through gruelling training, all so he'd master the Kāma and become a perfect vessel for Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, as Jigen wanted. During it, he would constantly berate Kawaki as only having value as a vessel for the Kāma and would strike the boy whenever he questioned him. Kawaki eventually also underwent extensive body modification. In the anime, a terrified Kawaki tried to escape the Kara hideout, but ran into Garō, another survivor from Jigen's vessel experiments. Garo marvelled at the fact that unlike him, Kawaki didn't seem to suffer any major injuries. Garō tried to get him to come with him stating he could teach him along of things, however Kawaki wanted to leave and asked where the exit was. Enraged, Garō started strangling the boy, who in self-defence activated his Kāma, and blasted Garō in the face, severely burning his head and destroying his chin, for which he claims to have apologised.

Stemming from his harsh childhood, Kawaki is shown to be aggressive and vulgar to people he dislikes or opposes. At the same time, he can remain calm and collected when questioning strangers, such as when Kawaki listened to Konohamaru Sarutobi's explanation about himself and his team. When not letting his temper get the best of him, Kawaki is shown to be very observant and problematic, easily reading the flow of battle before him and how best to react. Due to the massive suffering he has endured while forced to be a vessel of the Kara, which he described as being a living hell, he would gladly die than be stuck in said hell for the rest of his life. He has even shown signs of post-traumatic stress disorder, as simply seeing dripping roots of plants serves as a reminder of his struggles and has left him panting in horror. He appears to loathe himself for what he has become over the years he spent with Kara, stating that he would learn the Shadow Clone Technique just so he could beat himself up to vent out. Kawaki harbours deep resentment towards Kara, becoming highly alert and aggressive when facing off against members of the group. He particularly resents Jigen for what he deemed as a violation of his promises of safety, as shown by how he quickly erupted to a rage while unconscious upon being reminded of Jigen's adoption of him and later on when he showed clear resentment while describing Jigen's experiment. However, while appearing to be confident in his ability to defeat the Outers, he knows better than to believe than he could possibly come out on top against any of the Inners, knowing of their completely monstrous might, and has shown fear of them, sweating in the presence of Delta and expressing brief but great shock that Naruto could be more powerful than even Jigen, who he knew fully well was the strongest member of Kara. Even though he deeply loathed Jigen and believed that with Naruto protecting him he was safe, Kawaki remained terrified of him as Jigen's arrival through the Kāma he forced on Kawaki caused him genuine horror and fear not just for himself but for Naruto and after seeing Naruto struggling against the far weaker Delta and then being overtaken with ease by his adopted father, when Jigen attacked Konoha to retrieve him and was about to engage Naruto, Kawaki instantly surrendered, believing a fight between the two of them could end in Naruto's defeat and death. This fear, however, at least after his change due to his time in Konoha, is not at the level where he would just allow himself to be defeated without putting up a fight, as he attempted to attack Jigen even though he knew how futile it would be for him to fight his adopted father, who he had always lost to in their spars, and despite being effortlessly restrained, he still did not bother to defend Naruto and insult Jigen, and later on despite describing Boro as being even worse in some ways than Jigen, he challenged him to save Naruto along with the rest of Team 7. His hatred for Jigen (and later Isshiki) was so powerful that he openly relished in seeing Isshiki's impending death, even stepping on his crumbling remains while insulting him. Being used by Isshiki made him detest the rest of the Ōtsutsuki clan as well, as he expressed his hatred for Momoshiki's similar mindset. Due to his harsh childhood, he is a stranger to simple joys like pastries, as he is openly amazed at their flavour. He is also constantly on guard, instinctively attacking a child for bumping into him without hesitation, although he claims he was only interested in scaring the child to show him the harshness of life. Kawaki also seems to possess a dry sense of humour, as shown when Kawaki mocked Garō for his part in disfiguring his jaw in the past. He is also shown to be quite ruthless, fully capable off killing anyone who either opposes or angers him. In addition, Kawaki is also antisocial, showing little to no respect for others and being openly blunt and rude in his decision and opinion, although he does have some manners, as he is shown to be not above apologising when he does something wrong even if he initially believed it to be unnecessary, as shown by how he apologised, even if half-heartedly, on how he broke the flower vase Himawari gifted to Hinata after seeing how much it hurt her. In addition, he is not above fixing his mistakes if necessary, as although begrudgingly, Kawaki was willing to buy another vase to make Boruto agree to work with him, nor has his heart completely been closed off, according to Kurama, as Naruto's advice against self-hatred did, even if bitterly, change his decision to learn how to use Shadow Clones to beat himself up and even cause him to try to fix the broken vase and he even came to appreciate his relationship with Naruto and his family, risking his life to save Himawari, although he insisted that it was for self-preservation on needing to keep the Hokage alive. Over time with his new life in Konohagakure, Kawaki began opening up to others, apparently enjoying the game Extreme: Shinobi Picture Scrolls and showing an interest in learning ninjutsu. He became noticeably more responsible in tasks placed on him and relatively more calm and respectful. This change in nature largely came from Naruto, who would continuously show such patience and compassion to the boy. Also stemming this, Kawaki came to respect the Seventh Hokage, as he offered to trade an extremely rare Fourth Hokage card for a Seventh Hokage card, hoping to learn more about Naruto. Later, in learning about how he shared kinship with Naruto, both having such trouble childhoods yet Naruto was able to raise beyond it to find joy, Kawaki came to deeply admire Naruto and driven to learn from his example. He also became noticeably more reasonable, lashing out less, even while under house-arrest. Even more, he become infuriated with Jigen after the latter insulted Naruto, ordering him to never speak ill of Naruto. He also later came to respect Boruto, happy when Boruto openly considered him a brother. His newfound loyalty towards his surrogate family was even willing to sacrifice his freedom to ensure their survival. Even more, he without hesitation left to Jigen's alternate dimension to help Naruto. When facing Isshiki, Kawaki openly voiced he'd rather be dead that live in a world without Naruto, viewing himself proudly as a student of the Hokage. Later, Kawaki apparently came to despise shinobi as he became driven to end its era once and for all. Though Kawaki is not a ninja and does not know how to harness his chakra, he is still a remarkably powerful fighter, having been not only brutally trained in armed and unarmed combat by Jigen but also having extensive body modifications with a high level Shinobi Ware and mastered the power of Kāma from his training with Jigen. In the past he was able to destroy Garō's jaw and dozens of robotic puppets. Even in an exhausted state, his power was enough to repel Team Konohamaru and fend off Garō, easily defeating and killing him upon activating his Kāma, and would have killed Team Konohamaru with a single attack had Boruto not tapped into his own Kāma and absorbed it, with Delta openly praising Kawaki's might. As noted by Jigen, Kawaki's particular nature has the potential of becoming a "perfect Ōtsutsuki". Kāma Kawaki possesses the Kāma mark of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, which he acquired after being the only one to survive Jigen's attempt to transfer his own Kāma. Due to his training under Jigen, Kawaki was already capable of activating the mark at will, although at times it does activate out of his control, and properly using its power. He could absorb ninjutsu and create large-scale explosions with it active. However, using the mark causes his body to overheat, leaving him unconscious. When synchronising his Kāma with Boruto, they can produce a Space–Time rift to enter different dimensions. With the continued advancement of this mark, Kawaki has begun to subconsciously access a transformed state, manifesting a small horn on the left side of his head. Kawaki's contact with Boruto, who bears Momoshiki's Kāma, created a resonance that accelerated the takeover rate of both vessels. After Isshiki was forced into resurrected through Jigen, Kawaki's Kāma was erased. Later however, he was branded with another Kāma. Kawaki's body has undergone significant modification by Amado, with microscopic technology being implanted into his body that constantly alters his physiology throughout his circulatory and nervous systems, transforming him into something of a living scientific ninja tool. Upon initial examination, Katasuke Tōno deems the cybernetics in his body a work of art, as advanced as the prosthetic arm he designed for Naruto Uzumaki, if not more so. He also clarifies that unlike Mitsuki, who is a synthetic human that was genetically engineered using organic technology, Kawaki is a human being who was transformed into something else using inorganic technology. Kawaki generating a blast with his modified arm. His Shinobi-Ware takes the form of nanoscopic scientific ninja tools implanted throughout his entire body, which seem to be able to make particular alterations at the cellular level, granting him unique superhuman abilities similar to a kekkei genkai.[8] For example, his body tissue can undergo rapid cellular division, causing it to expand, and it can also instantly undergo sclerosis or malacia to harden or soften. This allows him to partially transform his body in a manner similar to Jūgo's Sage Transformation, weaponizing it to produce sharp blades or piercing tendrils; these growths can even be shed, or thrown as projectiles, enabling him to produce a myriad of tools and weapons for battle. This also provides him with an accelerated healing rate, able to mend his injuries in minutes. He can also produce a powerful shockwave from his body, either as a focus beam or in all directions, even the ground below him. When Kawaki lost his right arm to Delta's Destruction Beam, he was given a prosthetic replacement by Katasuke, which does not compare to the advanced technology of his body. It siphons trivial amounts of chakra from Naruto to function, and does not operate when Naruto sleeps or falls unconscious. Furthermore, Kawaki's modified body seems to be rejecting this replacement prosthetic due to the difference in the complexity of the technologies made them ultimately incompatible. It would appear Amado later repaired Kawaki's arm and restored it in the following years. Physical Prowess Kawaki specialises in close-range combat. His style is shown to be very nimble and coordinated, flipping about to evade enemy attacks and using the environment to launch himself at the opponent. Upon which, he is able to seamlessly unleash a barrage of strikes from each of his limbs. He is also very resilient. While already being tired beforehand, he was able to endure Garō's savage assault and continue fighting effectively despite his battered state. Kawaki is later shown to be proficient in using a bō, able to match Boruto's swordsmanship. Ninjutsu Kawaki using Fire Release. Since living in Konohagakure and taking an interest in ninjutsu, he began learning it from the Seventh Hokage. This included chakra manipulation and shurikenjutsu, to which he showed a noticeable talent for, mastering the basics in a short period of time. He is also able to perform more advanced techniques with a single hand, including Fire Release and the Shadow Clone Technique. He also demonstrated great ingenuity, using the limited skill he has acquired for clever deceptions.

Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki

Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki was a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan's main family, investigating the whereabouts of Kaguya and her God Tree and then attempting to cultivate a new one out of the chakra of the Seventh Hokage. In the process of being killed by Boruto Uzumaki, Momoshiki placed a Kāma on him, allowing his spirit to remain intact through the mark. Momoshiki is typically calm, collected, and calculating. However, he has been prone to demonstrate sadistic tendencies, which was shown during his and Kinshiki's attack on Konohagakure, where he laughed after seeing distressed citizens while firing his elemental attacks. Momoshiki also has a severe superiority complex and thought very lowly of people other than himself, calling humans "lowly beings". Likewise, he is also even unsociable amongst his fellow clansmen such as Isshiki,Urashiki, and even his own foster father Kinshiki. Despite his callous attitude, he remains loyal to his clan's ideals of power and means of attaining it; while he laments Naruto's inability to pass along his massive chakra to his son in his future, he absorbs Kinshiki's without a second thought as per his wish. As with Isshiki, Momoshiki is determined to harvest a chakra fruit at all cost, as he decided to use Kawaki as a sacrifice for the Ten-Tails to bloom into a God Tree, even though this would result in the fruit's decreased quality, to the point that he would absorb chakra to prevent Kawaki from committing suicide even if risking Boruto regaining control of his body. Momoshiki is also uninterested in hard-work, preferring to absorb and use the techniques of others instead of relying on his own personal strength. Due to this, he has very limited skill in taijutsu, becoming one of his main crippling weaknesses. Any effort on his part disgusted Momoshiki, and grows visibly annoyed at anything not going smoothly for him, as he was angered by his clothes being ripped by Boruto. As such, he is very arrogant and reckless in battle, never implementing any attempts with strategy or attempting to conserve chakra, but simply flaunting his self-perceived superior power in the vain belief that his powers alone secure him victories. He always convinced himself he can simply replenish his chakra with what he gains from his Chakra Fruit and pills, or by whatever samples he obtained by absorbing others' attacks. Fitting of his lazy personality, he is also rather cowardly when faced with an actual challenge, as he became visibly nervous when his opponent proved powerful enough to threaten him and even more exploit his weakness. Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki both agreed Momoshiki's personality is a mirror image of Sasuke's when he was bent on killing Itachi Uchiha. However, upon seeing Momoshiki coldheartedly consume his own foster father and brutalise his fellow Kage, Naruto remarked that Momoshiki wasn't a man at all, or Sasuke's mirror image, but a simple monster with no redeeming qualities.

Although believing himself to be superior to everybody, Momoshiki is not completely unable to accept defeat, as after death, his spirit lingered enough to leave Boruto a foreshadow of his future, showing no outward anger nor hatred otherwise. Additionally, when controlling Boruto for the first time, Momoshiki only targeted Boro, but did not kill Boruto's friends even though he could easily have done it and only absorbed the necessary chakra to keep fighting from Naruto rather than just absorbing all of it, noting that Boruto still had a long way to go before he lost everything, showing his lack of grudge towards Boruto for defeating him. Because of the lengths that Kaguya went to prepare against Momoshiki and Kinshiki (and Urashiki in the anime), Sasuke speculated that they were a threat greater than her. Momoshiki also claims that he could have defeated Kaguya himself. He demonstrated the power to effortlessly destroy a world and its entire population on at least one occasion, though he deemed the level of their civilisation as low. He was capable of holding his own against multiple Kage-level opponents simultaneously, as well as defeating a perfect jinchūriki. After absorbing Kinshiki, he was able to defeat four Kage at the same time with extreme ease and he could fight near evenly with Sasuke and Naruto, who both utilised Six Paths Chakra. Physical and Chakra Prowess Momoshiki showed noticeable proficiency in taijutsu. He was fast and strong enough to be able to surprise and effortlessly kick Naruto through a wall and clear out of the Chūnin Exams arena with a single kick. He was also skilled enough with his black staff to hold his own against both Darui and Sasuke, although he was still at a disadvantage. Upon consuming Kinshiki, Momoshiki's physical prowess skyrocketed. He was able to effortlessly defeat Gaara, Darui, Chōjūrō, and Kurotsuchi in a single blow each before the planet's God Tree finished falling and was able to quickly out-manoeuvre Naruto in hand-to-hand combat. In the anime, he displayed taijutsu like that of the Gentle Fist but much more brutal, targeting Naruto's tenketsu and internal organs, and his skill with his weapons also greatly increased. Both using his bare hands and weapons, he was able to contend against Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode and Sasuke using both his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan as well as wielding his sword to their full effect. Even being trapped in a Chibaku Tensei didn't damage him, and he was able to bore his way through it. As an Ōtsutsuki, Momoshiki had the ability to fly and his chakra was extremely powerful. His reserves were considerable, as he was able to fight for a significant amount of time against multiple Kage-level opponents. After absorbing Kinshiki, Momoshiki's chakra became strong enough to create shock waves capable of cutting a God Tree in half. Momoshiki's spirit is remarkably powerful, as it was able to continue interacting with the living world for a period of time even after dying, giving him the opportunity to make Boruto into his vessel. Dōjutsu Byakugan Momoshiki's Byakugan. Momoshiki wielded the Byakugan in both eyes, granting him telescopic vision, x-ray vision, a near 360° field of visual perception,(with the presumed exception of a small blind spot at the upper thoracic vertebrae), and the ability to see the chakra pathway system and its tenketsu. Using it, he could see Kurama's chakra that was sealed within Naruto. In the manga and anime, Momoshiki could use his Byakugan to read the fate of other people, though it didn't allow him to see his own fate. Rinnegan Momoshiki using his Rinnegan to absorb ninjutsu. Uniquely, Momoshiki wielded a pair of Rinnegan in the palms of his hands, and also initially red in colour instead of light purple. With his right one, he could use to absorb any chakra-based technique he came in contact with, and utilise afterwards unleash the said technique with augmented power and scale through his left, which he proclaimed to be capable of making a limitless number of. Also with his right Rinnegan, he could turn a target into pills, which when eaten, grants him extended youth along with their chakra and technique arsenal. It would also cause a metamorphosis to his being, increases his size and muscular tissue. Noticeably, after transforming from his absorption of Kinshiki, the Rinnegan in Momoshiki's palms turned yellow and he gained an additional yellow Rinnegan on his forehead (purple in the movie). He could create black receivers as well, which he used to either fight with, or fire at an individual to impale and restrain them. Ninjutsu After absorbing Kinshiki, Momoshiki could create glowing red weapons, which he used in the manga to sever his planet's God Tree. He had some knowledge in fūinjutsu, evident from his attempts to extract Kurama from Naruto's body. At the cost of much chakra, Momoshiki could use space–time ninjutsu to transport himself between dimensions. Nature Transformation Momoshiki manipulating all five nature transformations. With his Rinnegan, Momoshiki could use all five elemental nature transformations simultaneously. He could create enormous elemental creatures, such as a fire pheasant, dogs, and a golem, which was powerful enough to battle a Susanoo-clad Kurama. Momoshiki's Fire Release was strong enough to overpower Sasuke's Susanoo and severely burn him. He can unleash a burst of wind able to repel many of Sasuke's Lightning Flash shuriken. Momoshiki could also use elemental techniques in the form of an absolute zero degree blizzard and meteorites. Kāma Momoshiki manifesting through Boruto's Kāma. Upon being killed by Boruto, Momoshiki chose to turn the boy into a vessel for his chakra by transferring his Kāma to him. This grants Boruto access to various mysterious powers, and as the mark develops, also allows Momoshiki to manifest and take complete control of his body for short bursts, during which he can act freely. In time, it is possible that the Kāma will continue to progress and make Boruto into a complete vessel, causing him to awaken as a "perfect Ōtsutsuki." Over time, Momoshiki's genetic profile will completely overwrite Boruto's, at which point the Kāma will disappear and Momoshiki will resurrect, taking over Boruto's body and erasing his personality. He is also revealed to retain access to Boruto's knowledge and skills.

Sumire Kakei

Sumire Kakei, born Sumire Shigaraki, is a kunoichi of Konohagakure's Scientific Ninja Weapons Team and a former member of Team 15. After Danzō Shimura died and the existence of Root and its actions were made public knowledge, all its members became ostracised by the village, including Sumire's family. This contributed to Sumire's mother growing ill and later dying. The loss affected Sumire deeply, as one of the few joys she experienced was spending time with her mother brushing her hair and over time Sumire couldn't even remember her mother's voice. Sumire's father, Tanuki Shigaraki, a maniacal follower of Danzo's, trained her from a young age, in order to avenge Root. Eventually, he bestowed her with Gozu Tennō. After the death of her parents, Sumire became an orphan and created the identity of "Sumire Kakei", deciding that it was best to wait and create a cover story before exacting her father's plan. Sumire eventually became the representative of her Academy class, during which, she began nurturing the Nue's development. Having gone through arduous training since a young age, Sumire is a very capable kunoichi, well above the genin level. She was shown able to hold her own against a squadron of adult and elite ninja, who all acknowledged Sumire's skill. Her most powerful asset, however, is her deceptive and manipulative nature that has allowed her to forge herself a new identity, that of a meek and ordinary young girl. After becoming a genin, her intelligence was further shown in being scouted by the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team at a young age, where despite this, became one of its most valued workers. Having gone through arduous training since a young age, Sumire is a very capable kunoichi, well above the genin level. Initially through the Gozu Tennō placed on her back, Sumire was able to summon Nue to assist her, even without fully manifesting its form, and has shown the ability to create a snake-like mass of negative chakra to attack with, as well as displaying the ability to use her own chakra as a medium to steal the chakra of others. While the summoning contract was seemingly destroyed, she retained a portion of the seal on her left palm. Afterwards, albeit in a chibi and house pet-sized form. Physical Prowess Sumire is very fast and nimble, able to effectively evade attacks and evade a group of pursers. She also has noticeable taijutsu prowess, able to fight on par with Mitsuki. She is very stealthy in general, able to effectively hide her presence, making it very hard to locate her.

Amado

Amado is a former Inner from the organisation Kara and the head of its research and development division. He has since defected to Konohagakure, where he used a mix of bluffs and gifts to gain official citizenship for the Hokage's protection. In his quest to kill Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Amado joined Kara and was granted the rank of Inner, serving as the head of its research and development division. He acquired genetic information of Jiraiya, and used it to create a clone, Koji Kashin, who became his secret ally in their goal of killing Isshiki's vessel, Jigen. Amado would assist Jigen on transferring a Kāma into various children as their vessel. As the project continued to show no progress as one child after another died, Amado suggested they change methods for their goal, Jigen reminded him that they have neither the time nor a viable alternative. After they lost thirteen more children, Kawaki and Code were the only survivors, and though Code failed to become a vessel, he attained the White Kāma, while Kawaki successfully became their vessel.

 

In the anime, Amado, along with Koji, witnessed a young Kawaki being confronted by Garō and Kawaki unconsciously activated his Kāma and blasted Garō. At some point, Amado was given the research on Katasuke Tōno's Scientific Ninja Tools by Koji. Upon which, Amado began refining and expanding on the technology, incorporating it into the various Inners of Kara. During his time within the organisation, Amado has gained complete knowledge of Kara and the Ōtsutsuki Clan. Because of this, Jigen has forbidden him to ever leave headquarters; to do so would amount to treason that could well result in Amado's execution. As an Inner of Kara, Amado is described as having completely monstrous abilities. Amado is fast enough to easily close the distance between him and Shikadai Nara in an instant and bind him upon being freed from his paralysis. Amado is an exceptionally intelligent man with exceedingly advanced knowledge in science and technology, with Kawaki describing him as a technological genius. He provided Jigen with the means to determine whether a candidate is compatible with Kāma through his scientific expertise, which resulted in Kawaki being determined to be successful, though fourteen who failed the tests have died. He could also clone humans. Using the DNA of Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin, he created a perfect clone in Koji Kashin. In the anime, his technological prowess was such that he could even revive the recently deceased in the form of a disembodied head, kept alive in a test tube, enough for the head to answer questions. While his true capabilities remain unknown, Amado is shown to be a very methodical and knowledgeable man. Well-prepared, he skilfully uses a variety of technology to prevail. He is also shown to be a proficient tactician and deceiver, planning several steps ahead, such as pretending to plant an explosive collar device on Shikadai to use him as a leverage against his father to get Konoha to listen to him, making it look convincing by detonating a genuinely explosive collar, which fooled Shikamaru and the others. He also came up with a plan to force Isshiki Ōtsutsuki to reincarnate in Jigen's body to remove Kawaki's Kāma by having Koji attack him when he was critically weakened from his victory over Naruto and Sasuke while deceiving Koji into believing he could defeat Isshiki even though he never intended for him to make it out alive, which even earned him Isshiki's praise. As head of Kara's research and development division, Amado has been credited with the development of all of its fearsome Shinobi-ware and cyborgs. His technological genius directly resulted in the proliferation and advancement of scientific ninja tools far beyond the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team's combined capabilities, having been able to invent a number of uniquely powerful devices or expand upon those already distributed. He has also designed the organisation's autonomous puppets, used for fighting or otherwise simple tasks. Each member of Kara was granted monstrous capabilities while outfitted with his technological advancements. This includes devices that could heal virtually any injury, weapons that could counter an individual's regenerative abilities, and devices that could absorb, store, and release absorbed ninjutsu. He also developed a powerful virus capable of incapacitating those who are exposed to it. He was even able to modify Kawaki down to the level of his circulatory and nervous systems, implanting inside him an extremely high level of Shinobi-Ware in the form of microscopic scientific ninja tools implanted throughout his entire body. Even the genius engineer, Katasuke Tōno, expressed awe at the level with which Amado had turned Kawaki into a living Scientific Ninja Tool and later noting that it was above his own level of expertise. Amado is also capable of restoring the arm Kawaki lost to Delta's Destruction Beam. Such modifications afforded him the opportunity to include shutdown commands into their shinobi-ware. Amado makes regular use of computers and tablets, using them to store the organisation's most vital information, monitor his teammates when operating on them, or check the status of his other scientific ninja tools. Amado has revealed a number of tools that he can summon into his possession. Even when immobilised, he can programme them to activate with slight gestures. He makes use of devices such as explosive collars and a drug capable of instantly knocking people out that he administers through needles from his gloves. Against Shikadai, he used a tool shaped like a tuning fork to repel and reverse his Shadow Imitation Technique. For espionage, he's developed tools that can be used to gather information, such as Delta's drone that can sense chakra, track invisible targets, and store information whilst being hidden from sensors. He can also modify and make use of animals. With similar modifications, he has been able to share their vision or project what they see, using his glasses.
